Who Decides Your Fire Protection Requirements? Understanding the AHJ
What the Authority Having Jurisdiction is, how NFPA standards become requirements, and why the same building can face different rules in different places.
Fire Extinguisher Services
Annual inspections, maintenance, recharging, sales and replacement for portable fire extinguishers — documented, tagged and scheduled so nothing falls through the cracks.
Starting at $12 per extinguisher
Portable fire extinguishers are often the first line of defense against a small fire. To do that job they need to be the right type for the hazard, mounted where people can reach them, fully charged and in good mechanical condition.
YearRound inspects and services extinguishers at restaurants, offices, warehouses, apartment communities, schools and other commercial properties. Every unit we service is checked, tagged and recorded so you have a clear record of what was done and when the next service is due.
Our Process
We confirm your locations, approximate extinguisher count and access requirements, then book a time that works around your operations.
Technicians check each unit’s type, mounting, pressure, seals, hose, nozzle and physical condition, and perform required maintenance.
Each serviced unit is tagged. You receive a written report listing every unit, its location and condition.
Units needing recharge, hydrostatic testing or replacement are identified with a clear quote before any additional work is done.
We track your next service date and contact you before it is due.

A technician verifies each extinguisher is the correct type, properly mounted and accessible, fully charged, and free of damage, corrosion or obstruction. Seals, pins, hoses, nozzles and labels are checked, and the unit is tagged with the service date.
